When I said I was making this card I told Janette Padley and Marleen Michaelis Gallagher that I would blog it. I started a blog and then, feeling totally overwhelmed and lacking in technobility I pushed it to one side...this card was to start it all off again...

The image was bought from craftsUprint..one of Janette's wonderful dragon images 'in a tangle'. The card was very basic, coloured with promarkers and then glittered on ears and wings etc. and also the fairy lights. Matted and layered with a glittered hand made paper and silver and pink card stock. The background of the image I chalked so soften the white and the sparkle of the star diecut seemed to mirror the card..

So here we go...another attempt to get my head around this blogging lark...  :0) xxx

Sunday evening scribblings

So here we are on a Sunday evening with nothing much done in the day...

I have watched and grimaced and hoped and cheered the All Ireland Hurling final...only to have it end in a draw so we have to go through it all again in a few weeks time..

I have cooked a fry up...real fry up, not fry light fry up...so I have probably eaten a whole months syns in one day..

I have finally worked out a plan for the personal dilemma in my life at the moment...finding a solution where I can be shown to be right without being drawn into doing what someone else wants...a satisfying feeling...

I have coloured and 'iced' a cupcake doodle ready for a card to defend my crown at the local agricultural show next weekend....and now don't like the colour of the 'icing'...
I have done it in silver and am now going to make another with 'white icing' and see if I prefer that. My original of this design was done in white and maybe as that was my 'baby' it is clouding my judgement....maybe I will put them both up here and ask for a vote...

No other cards have been finished, no other designs coloured, no housework, no ironing...nothing...a whole nothing day.

Tomorrow I pull my finger out and get busy...

Only on Planet Sarah

...and we have lift off, I hope...

Welcome to my new project, somewhere to show and hopefully extend my love of all things crafty. Although I will try anything, my first love will always be card making and I love to try and use other forms of craft within my cards...cross stitch, knitting, glass painting, jewellery making etc.

My aim is to make a card a day to post here but, as Planet Sarah tends to be a rather disorganised place, I am making no promises...xxx
